We recreate this kebab, originally created by the greatest kebab-maker from Avadh-Tunde Mian. The uniqueness is its melt in the mouth softness.
A fragrant combination of long grain basmati slow cooked in a special vessel with fresh herbs and spices, served with a mint yogurt dip.
Indian flat-bread baked fresh in the tandoor.
A cooling yogurt concoction. From 7/27/10-8/3/10, a complimentary appetizer of chef`s choice will be given to your order.
Bhatti Indian Grill is an ultra-authentic North Indian restaurant in the heart of Murray Hill in New York City that’s refined yet affordable, upscale and still comfortable.
Kebabs are the real specialty of the house—and they’re anything but typical. The name of the restaurant refers to a special open fire grill used in the Indian state of Punjab. It was there that, generations ago, hunters would strive to achieve the freshest meals by carrying a grill that could be used in the same forests where they found their catch. The recipes and methods they used are recreated here, and in their tradition, each dish is finished over lava rocks which impart a signature flavor.

The appetizer varieties include Murg Melai Kebab, chicken marinated in green chili, cardamom, and cream cheese before being served alongside a fresh fig dipping sauce. For a vegetarian option, the Tandoori Chaat consists of diced apple, bell peppers, and pineapple tossed in a spicy balsamic marinade and grilled to a light char. A nice transition from the kebabs, Bhatti ki Chaamp (Lamb Chops) are marinated with a house blend of cumin, fenugreek, mint, ginger, and garlic. Unlike Indian-style lamb chops elsewhere, these lack yogurt or sour cream in their marinades, keeping the flavor pure and tender. Goat is the star ingredient in Bhuna Gosht, a tender dish made with garlic, ginger, and a secret-recipe brown sauce that’s infused with saffron. For fish lovers, there is Meen Moiley, a specialty from the backwaters of Kerala featuring the catch of the day in a green chili and lime juice curry, a creamy yet citrusy concoction that gets sopped up by basketfuls of naan.
Pick from a variety of kebabs and curries and watch as our master chefs work their magic at the tandoor.

Took over an hour and a half for delivery, even though estimate was 30-45 mins. Food arrived cold.

Very poor Chicken was poor quality, too much fat and skin left on. You should remove this vendor.

Excellent kebabs, great flavor as well (veg and non veg). Gilauti Kebab is definitely the best! But love the variety of Chicken kebabs as well. Paneer and Mushroom Kebabs are the best veggie kebabs...

We ordered quite late so I wasn't sure what to expect. The samosa (singular) came soaked in a sauce (I actually thought it was a soup until fishing around and finding the samosa), which was a bit strange, but it was still tasty. The naan was a bit greasy. However, the chicken tikka masala and rice were Delicious. The chicken was tender and the sauce was very good. Probably the best chicken tikka I've had in a long time. I would gladly order again.

Usually very good, however, not so tonight. Burnt Gulab Jamun and a just o.k chicken tikka. Disappointing

Food was cold on arrival, the order incorrect and no rice.

Amazing food but unfortunately exactly the opposite in terms of delivery service... my last order took 2 hours to be delivered, the earliest any other order has arrived is 1 hour and so far every time I have ordered I have had to call in and check what the status is! If only they could fix this they would be perfect. The Chef Gaurav is clearly brilliant with his cuisine.

Very slow. Ordered food at 6:03 PM, food finally arrived midtown at 7:22. The Naan is not bad.

I'm definitely an Indian food novice, but there was no denying that this was delicious and affordable. The Paneer Tiki Masala was amazing - an item I know I'll reorder again and again. The naan was just ok in my opinion, but the rest of the flavors were so delightful, I didn't mind only having a small piece of it.

The Kebabs here are outstanding. My favorites: Bhatti da Murg, Boti Kebab and Tangri Kebab

I ordered from Bhatti for the first time and the food was fantastic. Delivery took about 45 minutes. Will surely order from here again.

Too long for delivery and this website has a wrong address of 18th Street between 5th & 6th. Otherwise, I would not have bothered.

This is absolutely the worst order experience I had on Seamlessweb. The food took almost two hours to arrive and they were completely cold. The delivery boy seemed to be very angry by pressing my door buzz on all the time (imagine someone knocking your door non-stop even you are rushing to the door) I totally understand why it took so long: The restaurant is 18th street between 5 and 6 and my place is midtown east at turtle bay area. But if you couldn't delivery to that far, I understand. Just don't promise you will do it within 45 mins but did it in 2 times of the time expected. Anyways, it is one-star.

for indian this is actually an embarrassment.

I wish I could give 10 STARS. Here's why... I ordered and saw that there was a free appetizer of the chef's choice. Unfortunately it DID NOT come. I had ordered a lot of food so I thought I should let them know. When they found out that had happened they not only sent the app, I thought I was receiving a care package. This EXEMPLARY service has ensured that I will keep ordering from here. Although I have had much better rice pudding, the rest of the food especially the naan was really good and cheaper than other highly rated Indian places.

Take FOREVER to deliver... food is cold by the time it gets delivered

They ran out of the samosa, and rather than call me to ask what I wanted instead, they decided to substitute it with a random appetizer that did NOT look appetizing at all! Luckily, Seamless Web has great customer service and will refund the money... Also, the small portions does not match the price!

This is a great place. Both my wife and myself love the food. The food is delivered on time and the staff is very polite. I have recommended it to many of my friends who, like myself, love Indian food.

If I could give a zero I would. This was the most unsatisfying meal that I have ever ordered. The food was stone cold when it arrived over an hour late. Stay away is all I've got to say.

This place has come a long way since it opened. My first couple of experiences were not good with taking out. But since then they have improved a 100%. The food got much better, and the service too. I also recently ate at the restaurant and that was a very good experience. The staff was very attentive, the food was great, it's a small place, but its clean and cute. I would highly recommend it. I would recommend any of the tikkas. Good for the price point.

This was a terrible experience. The portions were so small I thought they forgot to put the whole order in. I received 2 (TWO) pieces of chicken of the Bhatti Ka Murgh that were too chewy to enjoy. I received 3 (THREE) very small pieces of chicken Tikka Masala. There was NO RICE, NO BREAD as promised as part of the lunch special "chicken box". Barely enough food for an appetizer, and half of it was inedible. I also ordered raita and garlic naan which were fine. However, I have to believe that someone ate my entree or they forgot to send it. No way is it worth the money. I am still hungry and I will NEVER order from here again.
